Florian et Michael Quistrebert: The Light of the Light is an exhibition catalogue, published on the occasion of an eponymous solo show at Palais de Tokyo, Paris in 2016. Combining colors, light, mass and illusions, Florian and Michael Quistrebert replay in their works the great motifs of modern art, by perverting them, from a singular approach to matter. At the Palais de Tokyo, they deployed a vast optical theater within which the experience of their paintings and videos was disturbed by the brilliance and internal movements of objects.
