Crèvecœur

As part of Condo New York 2018 Bodega is hosting Crèvecoeur from Paris. The two galleries have co- organized a group exhibition feauturing artists from both gallery programs.
This is the second iteration of Condo New York, a collaborative exhibition by 47 galleries across 21 New York spaces, which will take place from June 29–July 27, 2018. In 2016, Vanessa Carlos (Carlos/Ishikawa) founded Condo London as a way to offer international galleries a site for creative collaboration and exchange. It has since expanded to New York, Mexico City, São Paulo, and Shanghai. This year’s New York participants include galleries from across the world, from as far as Auckland, Cairo, Dubai, Kolkata, Pristina and Tokyo.

Jason Benson (b. 1987) lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia. Recent exhibitions include Atlanta Contemporary (Atlanta,
GA), Balice Hertling (Paris, France), Regards (Chicago, IL), On Stellar Rays (New York, NY), Ellis King (Dublin, Ireland), Bodega (New York, NY), fused space (San Francisco, CA), Bureau (New York, NY), Springsteen (Baltimore, MD), 321 Gallery (Brooklyn, NY), TG (Nottingham, UK), Lodos (Mexico City, Mexico) and Queer Thoughts (Chicago, IL).

Than Hussein Clark (b. 1981) lives and works between London, UK, and Hamburg, Germany. Recent solo exhibitions include Gesellschaft für Aktuelle Kunst (Bremen, Germany), VI VII (Oslo, Norway), Crèvecoeur (Paris, France), Parcours
at Art Basel 2017 (Basel, Switzerland), MIT List Visual Arts Center (Cambridge, MA), Frans Hals Museum (Haarlem, Netherlands), Futura (Prague, Czechia), Mathew Gallery (New York, NY), and David Roberts Art Foundation (London, UK). Group exhibitions include Salts (Basel, Switzerland), Supportico Lopez (Berlin, Germany), Liverpool Biennial (Liverpool, UK), Museum Ludwig (Cologne, Germany), Project Native Informant (London, UK), and Freedman Fitzpatrick (Los Angeles, CA). He will open a solo exhibition with Crèvecoeur in Marseille in September 2018.

Alexandra Noel (b.1989) lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. Recent exhibitions include Travesia Cuatro (Guadalajara, Mexico), Shane Campbell (Chicago, IL), XYZ Collective (Tokyo, Japan), Balice Hertling (Paris, France), The Sunroom (Richmond, VA), Jessica Silverman Gallery (San Francisco, CA) and Galleria Acappella (Naples, Italy). Upcoming exhibitions include Freedman Fitzpatrick (Los Angeles, CA), a solo exhibition at Parker Gallery (Los Angeles, CA), and a solo presentation with Bodega at Frieze London.

Louise Sartor (b. 1988) lives and works in Paris, France. Her solo exhibition Off Season is currently on view at Bel Ami (Los Angeles, CA). Recent exhibitions include Crèvecoeur (Paris, France), Château de Versailles, Paris de Tokyo offsite (Versailles, France), Ghebaly Gallery (Los Angeles, CA), Musée des Beaux-Arts (Dole, France), and Fondation d’enterprise Ricard (Paris, France). Upcoming exhibitions include Gwangju Biennale, Palais de Tokyo Pavilion (Gwangju, South Korea), Galerie der Stadt Schwaz (Schwaz, Austria), and Frieze London with Crèvecoeur.

Naoki Sutter-Shudo (b.1990) lives and works in Los Angeles. His solo exhibition Mœurs is currently on view at Crèvecoeur (Paris, France). Recent exhibitions include Bodega (New York, NY), Sydney Syndey (Sydney, Australia), XYZ Collective (Tokyo, Japan), Garden (Los Angeles, CA), La Paix (Paris, France), The Sunroom (Richmond, VA), Jessica Silverman Gallery (San Francisco, CA), and Los Angeles Contemporary Archive (Los Angeles, CA). He is the cofounder of Holoholo, a publishing house based in Paris, and the exhibition space Bel Ami in Los Angeles.
